“Tarasov Works Inc” –yesterday, today and tomorrow.
 
Within the period of 70 years OAO “ZiT” has manufactured and delivered motor-and-tractor electric equipment for engine building, motor-and-tractor plants of Russian Federation, CIS countries.
 
Manufacturing process of new types of items is performed at high-precise and high capacity native and import equipment, with application of details manufactured by powder molding, permanent magnets and substituted the molded pieces to the die- stamping.
 
Foundry facilities.
 
Foundry facilities includes die casting of aluminum alloys (AK9M2) and molding of plastics (6, 66, 66 and etc.). Manufacturing processes are developed with regard to the conditions of large serial production and the last achievements in the sphere of die casting;
 
●die casting of aluminum alloys are performed at the automated complexes model DC280C supplied by “CIZ-Pumori”, OOO “Krona”. The complexes allow working in computer mode and include the following operations: metal pouring, removal of castings, forced air cooling and greasing of dies. Maximum weight of produced castings is up to 1 kg.
 
●Molding of plastic is performed at thermoplastic machines models Siger-90, Siger-160 supplied by OOO “New industrial technologies”. Thermoplastic machines are equipped by automated loading of metal and drying bin.
 
Machining facilities.
 
●Aluminum covers for starters and alternators are tooling at the modern diamond boring machines by domestic production “Stan-Samara” and by foreign production “Honsberg” (Germany) and building-block machine “XZAS” and “Lindenmaier” (Germany), equipped by the modern metal cutting tools produced by the companies: “SANDVIK”, “HERTEL”, “Valenite”;
 
●Shafts turning is performed at the automatic transfer lines of hydro duplicating machines, finishing grinding at the automatic transfer lines by “Mikroza” company (Germany).
 
●Armature turning of the starters and alternators rotors is performed at semi-automatic lathes CTL- 500 by “AMECA” (Bulgary).
 
Pressing facilities.
 
Manufacturing processes are developed with regard to the conditions of large serial production and the last achievements in the sphere of sheet-metal stamping; hot and cold extrusion, heading as follows:
 
●Manufacturing of stators cores of two base types of alternators is performed at two automatic transfer lines “Rachetto”(Italy) and “DMG meccanica s.r.l.” (Italy) by “rolling up to rib” method.
 
●manufacturing of starter’s housing is performed at automatic transfer line “OMCG” (Italy). New technology of starter’s housings production is ready for launching at the automatic press 2DMR6-260 “Balconi” (Italy).
● Automatic presses “AIDA” (Japan) KV-2-1000 “Suller” (Germany), rotary pressing machine VBA- 600 “WF” (Germany) are used for production of such details as fans, pole pieces, pulleys.
 
Assembly facilities.
 
● automatic assembly lines “Bakony” (Italy) is applied for the units and aggregates assembly of generators and starters;
 
●manufacturing of generators stators (insulating, coiling, forming)) with high factor of filling in slots is performed at the modern spinning complex “DMG meccanica s.r.l. (Italy).
 
●running balance of starters and alternators rotors is performed at the balancing semi-automatic machines “Schenk” (Germany) and “Balance systems” (Italy);
 
● winding of excitation coils is performed at poly spindle semi-automatic machine “MARS4-150 “MARCILLI”;
 
● Testing and control of electric performances of alternators and starters are performed in automatic mode at the test beds P20/MC and P21/MC “Risatti Instruments” (Italy).
